Today, Tory decided to show off a new trick for the kids. Tory's attitude continues to be amazing, and he is determined as ever to keep improving. Little Jay was so excited to see Daddy walking around--but she always knew he could do it!! Way to go, Tory--you are an inspiration to us all!

Tory still continues to amaze me everyday. When he walks around with his walker at the hospital, all the other patients are so happy and surprised to see how well he is doing. Almost everyone knows who Tory is. He will stop to talk to anyone (patients, nurses, doctors, cleaning ladies, etc.)
Now that we know that he is able to take these steps, our next goal is for him to gain his strength back. His right leg has been getting stronger, as you can obviously tell, but his arms are still weak. We are still just trying to take one step at a time, but Tory just continues to SHOCK us with his improvement. (posted by Julie)

I have been following your accident on the McCarthy's blog. I just wanted to tell you how awesome it is to see you walking. I worked with spinal cord injury patients a few years ago and am so inspired by your determination and strength. It is obvious that God is working a miracle in your life because your recovery has been nothing short of amazing. Keep up the hard work, we are praying for you.
