Rylie's 1st Day of School

Yesterday was Roo's 1st day of school.

When Jalyn went to school, she would cry & cry...not Rylie! We walked her in, she gave us a kiss and said "Bye Bye Mommy & Daddy!" She even made #2 on the potty before we left. She says she's a big girl now. Too, too cute!!

Well, it's official....school has started! Jalyn started her first day of 3rd grade today. She is just getting too big - Daddy said he would buy her some candy if she stopped growing up.

Our Summer (so far)

I can't even put into words how busy our summer has been. Last summer was busy, but in a very different way! The girls have had so much fun spending time with all their extended family. It's almost over though - Jalyn starts back at school August 6!

Memorial Weekend

This past weekend we had a lot to celebrate. Not only is school out for summer, but Jalyn turned 8 years old! I can't believe my Jay is getting so big!! She also received A-B Honor Roll and was top speller in her class - Way to go my baby!

Also, on Memorial Day, it was officially 1 year since Tory's injury. We didn't exactly celebrate the injury, but we celebrated his recovery. He has come a long way, and while we know things will never be the way they were, we are grateful for how far he has come. This time last year, he wasn't able to move his legs, and now he is able to play with our kids, play around outside, cook, and more.

Jalyn's 8th Birthday Party

Jay celebrated her birthday this past weekend with her friends. We went to Savana Bananas in Slidell. All the girls got a Royal hair updo, make-up, painted nails, made their own lotion potion or shower gel, and sang karaoke. It was just so cute & all the girls had so much fun. We celebrated Jay's b-day a week early since we will be going to the beach for her big day.

Happy Mother's Day!

It has been a great Mother's Day! We got to spend the weekend at the beach & Tory cooked me & my mom a wonderful dinner! When we got back in town, I went and had a special lunch at Sal & Judy's with my mom, grandmother, and two of my sisters (Jamie, we missed you very much. We hope to see you VERY SOON!)

Beach Trip #1

We want to tell my Mom & Dad THANK YOU & CONGRATS on the purchase of their new condo in Gulf Shores. We had our first visit last weekend & we all had a ball.

Baseball Season Starts

After 3 weeks of practice, Jalyn had her first baseball game this past Saturday. She is one of 3 girls on her team & the rest are boys. She is slowly learning the game & has been having a lot of fun. The game was so fun to watch & very different from T-ball - they actually count strikes & get 3 outs. Her team won 12-1.

My nephew Chase came for another sleepover last week & we had so much fun with him. I had to post this picture of him in the tub because if you know Chase, you know how hard it is to give him a bath. He did great & had a lot if fun playing with the alligator.
